trailing toes through leafy green

through disheveled curls

To meet the clouds
lofty and untouchable
Pay homage to greatness
and wonder

Hovering within flimsy vapors
Dew glistening on skin
ripe with chills

Ever closer stars
Blinking and unchanging
Yet, changed ceaselessly

Grazing rooftops
Nesting with eagles
Becoming Pegasus

To float with angels
Just beyond the range
of their heavenly song
Blissful in their splendor

Tasting the Dragon's Breath
Plummeting
stomach in heart
to avoid it's scorch

Swooping ever upward
Unafraid
Uncensured
Untouchable
Finally freed
