poetic injustice anyone?

[not too cold]

Icy darkness enfolds the world
the only light from a full, blue moon,
reflected tears, shining bliss in my eyes,
and laughter, sparkling in yours

Moonlight, silvery upon newly fallen snow
Snow untouched but for two sets of footprints
and twin, winged angels
slumbering upon a blanket of white

Too cold here for the fiery taste of dragon's breath
too chilly for small faeries,
prancing, dancing, romancing
bounding along on fuzzy, cotton-tailed steeds

But not too cold for the warmth of your smile,
the fire of longing in your eyes,
and the burning love within my own
It's never too cold for me...
When I'm with you
