poetic injustice anyone?

[misplaced trust]

Dissention:
I speak not of
strife between men
But of the duality
of the human heart

True Love;
How can it be that two
so like in all
Should fall to one's fear
of being alone?

And how is your comfort now?
Your safety net
sewn of rotten cords?
Everything you desired?
Or have you fallen 'twixt the holes
of your misplaced trust?

Think of me often, the one you gave away
-and know that this net
is spiders silk; strong and soft...
Forged to catch you always.
