the wiccan way

[my dieties]

Below are the dieties I most associate with, and a prayer I wrote to them.  Though I don't limit myself to just these few gods and goddesses, I have come to know and love them, in particular.

Egyptian Mother Goddess

Mother Isis, shelter and protect me from the ills of the world and the ills of myself, and when the time comes to reap what I have sown, grant me a fruitful harvest.

Egyptian God of Wisdom, Writing, and Magic

Knowledgeable Thoth, imbue me with your gifts of wisdom, clarity, and magic so that I may discern my true path and tread it with pride and certainty.

Egyptian Cat Goddess of Joy and Revelry - She was originally a warrior Goddess

Passionate Bastet, help me to find my way back to the joy and creativity I have lost, and grant me the daring and willpower to cling to both.

Egyptian God of the Dead - He leads the dead to the Underworld and watches over them

Mighty Anubis, guide me from the stagnant waters of my old life, down the rivers of change, to a new life filled with wonder, mystery, and love.

Greek Goddess of the Crossroads - She is associated with Change and Transformation

Dark Mother Hecate, help me to balance the dark and the light within, grant me the vision to see my way through the endless night of shadows without fear so that I may meet you at the Crossroads between the worlds, and pray you lead me into the mysteries that follow.
